Used one gallon cider, 1 package dry Red Star champagne yeast (Says for 5g liquid, so this may be way too much. We'll see)
Cider- From Littletree Orchards, Enfield NY. Flash pasteurized, no preservatives
Raw taste- Dark yellow fading into orange, very cloudy- even can see some floaties. Taste is sweet, buttery, light tartness, almost a citrus quality. Slightly piquant.
Sterilized bottle cap, funnel, stopper air lock. Poured boiling water into jug to sterilize that. Poured cider through funnel from plastic bottle into jug. Added yeast and aerated. Applied airlock.
